We Value Your Trust

The IAF Northwest respects and protects the privacy of individuals who visit the website and join our email list. We will not trade, sell or exchange your personal information with anyone without your permission. We may only disclose such information if we are required to comply with valid legal process such as search warrant, subpoena, statute or court order, or when we need to protect against the misuse of or unauthorized access to our website.

When You Visit the Website

The IAF Northwest does not collect personal information about you except when you join our mailing list. However, we collect information relating to your use of our website. This is facilitated by “cookies.”  Cookies do not lock on to your name or location, but that your computer has accessed our website at certain given times. This helps us analyze how visitors use our website.

When You Participate in IAF Northwest’s Actions

We ask for your name, address, email address, and contact numbers when you participate in IAF Northwest actions. We use such information to keep you updated on current issues and actions that may interest you by sending you the weekly digest and newsletter. We also share your name, contact number and email with the key leaders who oversee the issues/working groups that you indicated interest in when you signed your next step card, so that they may contact you and inform you of the progress or opportunities for action in the group. We keep your donation history confidential. Any information sent to key leaders comes with expressly stated conditions not to distribute or use information for purposes other than IAF Northwest related ones.

We store all information in a secure database (Salesforce), including but not limited to your history of donation (amount, date, payments types), assemblies, institutes and retreats attended, working groups and actions that you joined, and tasks that you undertook as part of IAF Northwest’s broad base of leaders (i.e., reflection group leader, teacher, logistics organizer, etc.).


When You Donate Online

When you donate online, we redirect you to a secure outside vendor’s server (currently Paypal). Information given for electronic giving through Paypal is maintained in Paypal's secure e-services server. We have also taken physical, electronic and managerial measures to ensure that the data you provide are secure.
