MVA is on the Map!

March, 2014. Metro Vancouver Alliance’s Founding Assembly was, by all accounts, a great success. Representatives from member organizations, guests, and local politicians – over 650 people in all – packed the Maritime Labour Centre on March 19th to commit to working together to bring real change to the Lower Mainland.

Issues and Upcoming Events

Housing, Poverty, Transit, and Social Isolation emerged as the four issues that our members all agreed we had in common.

Our Research Action Teams will identify where problems lie, formulate practical, achievable solutions and then develop campaigns designed to mobilize and engage the public and secure commitments from politicians in the municipal elections coming up in November.
