Before highlighting the firsts from affiliate organization Living Wage Movement Aotearoa New Zealand. We want to share how the organization has come a long way since their campaign was initiated in 2014.

They have welcomed 361 accredited Living Wage Employers who employ 50,119 New Zealanders across Aotearoa from a diverse range of industries, including legal services, fashion retail and zero waste advocacy.

A first for this affiliate organization is welcoming three new industries:  Mitsubishi Motors NZ Ltd, their first automotive brand; Smile Dental, their first dentist; and BFT Te Awamutu, the first fitness centre/gym.

As the list grows we can see the impacts this work has made through the everyday people they advocate for! 

Beginning in September 2022, all accredited Living Wage Employers continue to create equity in their communities with the latest updates of wage increase!
