Health Care
Since our founding assembly in 2002, we have been working to make our local health care system more accessible, equitable, and affordable for people in the Tri-County area (see MACG's current and past accomplishments.)
The MACG Health Care Action Team worked in coalition with many other health care reform groups to pass HB 2009 and HB 2116 in the 2009 legislative session. This puts Oregon on the road toward universal health care and comprehensive reform.
Statewide Health Care Reform
During the 2012 Oregon Legislative Session, the Health Care Action Team is organizing for statewide health care reform in line with its core values of Equity, Affordability, Quality, and Accessibility.

Healthy Kids Outreach
The Health Care Action Team is demonstrating the impact of our work by signing up kids for insurance through the Healthy Kids Program.
