April, 2011. MACG’s Health Care Action Team has been working hard on its goals for 2011, with most effort focused around advocating to establish a strong, pro-consumer Health Care Insurance Exchange that can negotiate for the interests of consumers and small businesses. Establishing a strong exchange is also the number one priority for Health Care Action Day, Monday April 18.
Health Care Action Team Gears Up for Legislative Session
November, 2010. By Bob Brown, Havurah Shalom. Health care reform continues to be an important topic within our institutions. We did a lot of education and work around Oregon reform. Subsequently, Congress passed Federal reform that reinforces our State plans for universal coverage by 2015. But we need to be vigilant.
