Weatherize for Good - How?

If you apply for Clean Energy Works Oregon* through Weatherize for Good your steps will be as follows:

  • Apply Online through www.weatherizeforgood.org or on Paper Application
  • ***Select your institution (or MACG) from the list of partner organizations in Step 1***
  • Certified Contractor and Energy Advocate Assigned
  • Schedule a Home Energy Assessment
  • Decide on Proposed Options, Review and Finalize Financing
  • Get Work Done (Energy Efficiency Retrofit)
  • Quality Assurance Test-Out by HRCCA contractor with Energy Advisor
  • Weatherize for Good issues a check for $300 (for most jobs) to your institution
  • Repay Retrofit Loan Through Monthly Primary Heating Bill


*Weatherize for Good jobs that don’t need or qualify for Clean Energy Works Oregon terms still earn donations for referring institutions.  Still apply through www.weatherizeforgood.org.
