Weatherize for Good - How?
If you apply for Clean Energy Works Oregon* through Weatherize for Good your steps will be as follows:
- Apply Online through www.weatherizeforgood.org or on Paper Application
- ***Select your institution (or MACG) from the list of partner organizations in Step 1***
- Certified Contractor and Energy Advocate Assigned
- Schedule a Home Energy Assessment
- Decide on Proposed Options, Review and Finalize Financing
- Get Work Done (Energy Efficiency Retrofit)
- Quality Assurance Test-Out by HRCCA contractor with Energy Advisor
- Weatherize for Good issues a check for $300 (for most jobs) to your institution
- Repay Retrofit Loan Through Monthly Primary Heating Bill
*Weatherize for Good jobs that don’t need or qualify for Clean Energy Works Oregon terms still earn donations for referring institutions. Still apply through www.weatherizeforgood.org.
