Recent Updates
- The HUD Emergency Homeowners Loan Program offers a zero interest, forgivable bridge loan of up to $50,000 to WA and OR homeowners who have experienced a 15% or greater loss of income due to under- or unemployment or a medical condition. - The Washington State Foreclosure Fairness Act goes in to effect on July 22. Columbia Legal Services has developed an excellent overview of the law, which can require lenders to engage in mediation and provide loan modification and other remedies to homeowners prior to foreclosure. - On July 7 the Obama administration announced changes that will require servicers to extend the forbearance period for unemployed homeowners to 12 months for FHA borrowers and participants in the Making Home Affordable program.

- Chase has an in-person mortgage modification center in Tukwila, WA. Call (206) 575-2954 to make an appointment.
- The Washington State Attorney General’s Office has information regarding options to save your house.
