Best Starts for Kids: Briefings underway plus ASSEMBLIES coming up soon!
Sound Alliance leaders are well on their way to the goal they set last Spring of briefing 4000 people about the Best Starts for Kids levy, which is on the ballot for this November.
This summer, 65 leaders from various Sound Alliance member institutions got trained to lead 15 – 30 minute briefing sessions explaining the benefits of Best Starts for Kids to others in their organizations and community.
Even though briefings just started, 650 people have already attended!
In addition, Sound Alliance leaders are starting to walk neighborhoods spreading the word about Best Starts for Kids.
And, they are preparing for two geographically-based assemblies, one in Kirkland, and one in Seattle.
Come on out to these actions (pick one that’s convenient to you!) with local decision makers to demonstrate our support for Best Starts for Kids!
Passing the Best Starts for Kids levy would fund proven, preventative programs for children, giving them a better opportunity to reach their full potential in life. Healthier kids become healthier adults, benefiting our whole community and addressing the root causes of issues important to Sound Alliance members.
